The Florence
The all-day dining oasis- The Poway community of Sabre Springs has reason to rejoice now that The Florence has docked, transforming a drab cafeteria and parking lot into a sparkling new 300-seat, 10,000-square-foot restaurant, bar, and two-acre outdoor space that functions as both an attractive office amenity and a downright appealing dining destination.

The concept was designed by Developer Nick Sanderson, who discovered a link between the neighborhood and San Diego swimming legend Florence Chadwick, the first woman to swim the English Channel and the Catalina Channel. Chadwick’s family donated her archives to the restaurant, which has subtle sea and swim-inspired elements and is decorated with choice pieces of memorabilia.
